The red square is the symbol of moscow and russia. it is well known for all over the world. it is famous for it's old history. lots of tourists visit the red square everyday.   every winter there installs a public skating-rink and a christmas-tree on red square.  in the soviet era, red square was used for victory parades, speeches, and other state events, and some of the most iconic imagery of the square comes from this period.
