ответ: за   2 часа первый и за 2,5 часа второй участок.

пошаговое объяснение: пусть за х часов мотоциклист проехал первый участок, тогда второй за х+0,5 часов. расстояние первого участка будет 42х км, а второго 30(х+0,5) км. всего мотоциклист проехал 159 км. составим уравнение:

42х+30(х+0,5)=159

42х+30х+15=159

72х=144

х=2 (ч). за 2 часа мотоциклист проехал первый участок.

2+0,5=2,5 (ч). за 2,5 часа мотоциклист проехал второй участок.
