it is typical for people to decorate their houses as best as they can by doing up the and tiding the rooms or buying expensive furniture. however, when we leave our clean and beautiful houses, the sense of comfort disappears. one can understand why it is so. there are less trees and parks, instead of them we see a greater number of transport. singing birds is less likely to hear, there are only stray dogs on the streets.

that might be the reason why people who live in megalopolises escaping from the cities to the countryside, if possible. only there they remember that the earth is our home and we should protect it.

well-being and the health of people depends on the environment. if the nature is in bad condition, the development and prosperity of mankind is impossible, the priority is to survive. nowadays many people are becoming aware of the true situation, they take actions to protect the planet.

a large number of people join the different organizations in that are struggling for conservation the wildlife and the endangered species. the idea of alternative energy sources is becoming more and more popular. alternative energy sources are the sources that do not require to burn the fossil fuels to get energy. for example, wind generators, solar and hydro power plants.

undoubtedly, the earth is in need of such kind of protective actions, but it is also important that every person pays attention to the problem and tries to make our world cleaner and better.

new year is my favourite holiday.our winter holidays began on the 27th of december.unfortunately we did not have a new year party at school.i like winter for a number of holidays we celebrate at the beginning of a new year.first jf all this is new year day.on the eve of new year day my sister and i usually decorate a new year tree and mother cooks a lot of tasty things.we like tj celebrate this holiday at home.i am in a good mood because new year`s day and two weeks of the rest will come soon.i like fstive bustle. my granny comes to our place.at 11 o`clock we sit at the table to see old year off.at 12 o`clock with the last stroke of the clock we raise our glasses to new year.when the clock struck 12,we drank shampagne and wished each other a happy new .i with my sister were happy to get presents from my parents. i like a new year holidays.this is my favourite families holiday.
