  tourism in the  xix century there were so many travellers all over the world in the xix century. especially from europe where many of them come from.  one of the most famous travellers in that  period is roald amundsen who travelled to the  antarctica by boat. miklouho maclay  who became famous as the first scientist to settle among and study people who had never seen a white man.miklouho-maclay spent the major part of his life travelling and conducted scientific research in the  middle east, australia, new guinea, melanesia. he travelled by boat. and david lingviston, the expedition of bellinsgauzen and lazerev,   these travellers' purposes were to open   and just travel to the antarctica. some travellers' aims were to reach fame. wealth, or they just travelled for fun.
