i like new year and i decide to write about this holiday. that holiday is very popular. in different counries it is celebrated in different days, but everybody is happy at that time! new year has been a holiday for a long time. people dress beautiful clothes, gather treir friends, make tasty food and celebrate very funny. a new year tree is a very inportant part of the holiday. there ara a lot of kind of beautiful toys to decorate a new year tree, which is in every house. on the 31st of december(the day, when we celebrate new year) children dressed special clothes and they become like animals. next they dance round the new year tree and sing. it is very funny. at 00.00 people make saluts and meet the new year. everybody has a rest at that time and relax. because the holiday is liked by

день победы — праздник победы народа советского союза над нацисткой германией в великой отечественной войне 1941-1945 годов.

в этот день на красной площади города москвы проводятся военные парады.

по улицам городов маршем проходят кадеты военных училищ и служащие воинских частей. их путь лежит к памятникам погибшим воинам и военным мемориалам, где возлагают цветы и проводят митинги. за ними следует боевая техника и военная авиация. когда смотришь на эту мощь и движения военных, внутри все переполняется чувством гордости за свою страну. часто на глазах ветеранов можно увидеть слезы. ведь по сути это единственный день, когда о них вспомнили, а они столько сделали для победы.

на улицах людям георгиевскую ленточку, имитирующую традиционный биколор георгиевской ленты. это имеет символическое значение и выражает наше уважение к людям, сделавшим свой вклад в победу в великой отечественной войне. ленточку бесплатно, за счет благотворительных взносов.

вечером во многих частях города идут концерты, а завершают их салюты: красивые и продолжительные. люди россии с гордостью и великой радостью празднуют этот день.

there are many evening concerts in many parts of the city followed by very beautiful and long-lasting fireworks. russian people celebrate this great day with proud and blessing.
