Город свой russia 23 may 2014 dear ben, thanks for your letter! i'll be glad to answer all your questions. i must say, yesterday was may 9. how do you know it is a holiday, it is called "victory day". i had a great time with your family. in the morning we went to the parade. there bydo many veterans and men in uniform. i've photographed. i loved it. then, when the parade was over, we went to just walk around. in the evening we went to the fireworks! how i love them! it was very wonderful and beautiful. i got interested in your news! i hope you'll join me next year. that's all for now. i'll look forward to your answer. yours, oksana.

i came from a little town in england and had never before lived in a big city. london was a new world to me and i wanted to find out more about it for myself. on the day i arrived in london, the weather was fine.

i went for a walk in kensington gardens.

the trees just burst into leaf.

people in light spring clothes were walking about.

and to my surprise they walked not only along the paths but also across the grass.

i passed a pool in which ducks were swimming; children were playing in playgrounds, some hours passed.

it was time for me to go home.

i came out into the street.

at stops people were getting on and off public transport.

i took bus number 75 and in 15 minutes i was at home.
