how do you know that you are coming down with a cold?

if i am coming down with a cold i usually feel a little rising of temperature, shivering (озноб) throatache or a cough weakness and i don*t want to eat -i want to lie in the bed under the warm blanket.

what do you usually do to get better? i have to take a lot of medicine prescribed by the doctor, drink a lot of tea with lemon and milk with honey, stay in bed, not to go to school,put warm clothes and socks on.
