    (the table is ready)

5. a: could you tidy the kitchen?   i'm so busy.

      b: i was going to do it.   

    (this was your intenton but you haven't managed to do it yet)

6. a: you never clean the bathrom!

      b: what are you talking about? i've been doing it for weeks!

    ( actually nobody else but you has cleaned the bathroom for a month)

7. a: could you tidy up these documents? we have to fill in our tax declaration next week.

      b: ok, i'll have it done by the weekend.

      ( you promise to finish doing this before that time)
