The International Folklore Festival is also held in Bourgas in the summer. Since 2008, 'The Spirit of Bourgas', a brand new annual festival has also joined the list of events held in the city. The Spirit of Bourgas Festival features six stages where both Bulgarian and International artists perform different kinds of music. The event is held in August and lasts three days. There is a campsite within the festival grounds where visitors can stay if they don't want to stay at a hotel. International visitors are attracted to the stunning scenery and beautiful, sandy beaches of Bourgas. The festival is certainly expected to grow in popularity over the coming years.
