Turku is a city on the southwest coast of Finland. It was founded in the 13th century on the banks of the Aura River. One of its main versions is Turku Castle. It is a medieval fortress and history museum at the mouth of the river. Restaurants and cafes line its cobbled waterfront. On the east bank is the Old Square, surrounded by old buildings. Previously, there was a market here. In the nearby cathedral, you can visit the royal tombs and the museum.
