The book is always better than the movie because the film gives a look "from outside", and a book - also from "inside". movies usually don't show characters'  thoughts and experience.  and if we talk specifically about ''harry potter'', the movies changed some things. for me, these moments were important because they changed the characters. for example, in the film in the maze harry helps diggory, though in the book - on the contrary.
