Замените предложения в действительном залоге (Active Voice) предложениями в страдательном залоге (Passive Voice), используя выделенные курсивом слова в качестве подлежащего. Например:
Ships carry heavy cargoes.
Heavy cargoes are carried by ships.

1. Switching locomotives, or switch engines, move cars from track to track in rail yards.
2. They provide their own power.
3. Diesel-electric locomotives use oil-burning diesel engines to turn electric generators.
4. Steam locomotives burn coal or fuel oil to produce steam.
