Медведи -хищные млекопитающие. но несмотря на то, что являются хищниками, с удовольствием едят все, что попадется. они лазают и плавают, быстро бегают. обычно медведь передвигается вразвалку на всех четырех, хотя иногда может встать на задние лапы и проковылять несколько шагов. с приходом холодов медведь отыскивает удобное местечко для берлоги, куда натаскивает сухую траву, листья и мох. для убежища подойдет пещера или укромная расщелина в скале, но бывает, что медведь и сам выкапывает берлогу.
