Past Perfect
Variant I
Combine two sentences into one. Use after with the Past Perfect Tense.
Example. I did the homework. Then I watched TV for an hour or two.
After I had done the homework/ watched TV for an hour.
1. I learnt the poem. Then I played the computer game for an hour.
2. I wrote an e-mail. Then I fell asleep.
3. I bought presents for my family. Then I bought something for myself.
4. Kate tried on the shoes. Then she decided to buy them.​
