Once in winter mom suggested, "let's go skiing and sledding on sunday to solotcha. i hear from friends that whole families go there and have a good rest." we agreed, and at the nearest weekend went to solotcha. there right in the wood on the banks of the river staritsa is quite a high and steep mountain, which locals call lysaia. indeed, there were very many people, both adults and children. it is noisy there and a lot of fun! some are shrieking slide downhill on their sleds, others on their the car floor mats, and some - on the small pieces of cardboard which are popping up from under the rider halfway the hill. a little further from the mountain foot there is a small pavilion. there you can eat and warm yourself up with a cup of hot tea. nearby there are trails that lead into the woods - quiet and beautiful! giant trees frozen in the winter torpor. sometimes fluffy snow falls down from the branches. we had enogh time to ride on a sledge from the mountain top and to ski in the woods. we were under great mpression from that winter's day.
