museum-reserve of ф.и.тютчева in a village овстуг is the museum complex located on the motherland of poet in the bryansk area.

history of овстуга is indissolubly related to the name of the russian poet fedor ivanovich тютчева, that was born here in 1803. in this village, childhood of poet passed.

the farmstead of тютчевых in овстуге conducts the history from middle the xviii century. дение of new proprietary house is dated the seventiess of the xviii century. an old lithoidal house became the witness of birth ф.и.тютчева and served after to him and his children. in the middle the xix century a farmstead began to come in desolation, and a house was taken apart.

the revival of farmstead began in the eightieth years of the xx century, and the first display of museum-reserve of ф.и. тютчева was opened in summer of 1989.

today a farmstead house, windmill, enters in the complement of museum, economic building of farmstead of тютчевых and church of dormition, next to that the grave of ивана of nikolaevich тютчева, father of poet is located.
