Начнём с того, что само исходное предложение некорректно. оно вырезано из какого-то предложения, то есть как бы незаконченное? если так, то всё нормально. тут надо сказать "i, as all children at this age, ". и с "age" используется предлог "at", а не 'in". "like" (не как глагол, а когда сравнение) используется с глаголом "to be". то есть "to be like". если вы так хотите использовать "like", то можно перефразировать: i am like all children at this age: i ". сказать "i, like all children at this age, " нельзя.
