Перевести текст. A Parrot
A man had a speaking parrot.
But the parrot could only say one
phrase. The phrase was, “There is
no doubt about it**.” The man got
tired of the parrot and decided to
sell it. He took the parrot to the
market in the cage and shouted,
“Who wants my speaking parrot,
twenty pounds for my parrot!”
A man who was walking by
and heard these words came up to
the cage and asked, “Parrot, are
you really so clever that you cost twenty pounds?" “There is no
doubt about it!" said the parrot.
The man liked the answer so much that he paid for the
parrot and brought him home. But time passed and the parrot
never said anything else. The man came up to the cage one day
and said, “What a fool I was when 1 bought you once at twenty pounds!” “There is no doubt about it,” said the parrot.

Попугай

У одного человека был говорящий попугай.

Но попугай смог произнести только одну

фразу. Фраза была: “В этом нет

никаких сомнений".” Человек

устал от попугая и решил

продать его. Он взял попугая на

рынок в клетке и крикнул:

“Кому нужен мой говорящий попугай,

двадцать фунтов за моего попугая!”

Человек, который проходил мимо

и услышал эти слова, подошел к

клетке и спросил: “Попугай, неужели

ты такой умный, что стоишь двадцать фунтов?" “В этом нет никакого

сомнения!- сказал попугай.

ответ ему так понравился, что он заплатил за

попугая и привез его домой. Но время шло, а попугай

больше ничего не говорил. Однажды этот человек подошел к клетке

и сказал: “Какой же я был дурак, когда купил тебя однажды за двадцать фунтов!” “В этом нет никакого сомнения, - сказал попугай.
