Every country has its own national holidays, but there are holidays that are common to many countries.russia and great britain have got some common holidays, too.they are christmas, new year's day,easter, april fool's day.the most popular holiday in britain is christmas, but the most popular holiday in russia is new year's day. it's my favourite holiday, too.we decorate our new year tree and  prepare interesting presents for each other. we have a wonderful party.when the kremlin clock strikes 12 o'clock we see the new year in. then we watch fantastic musical shows on tv, sing, dance and go out to watch fireworks. it's great! i always remember our new year nights.
