Russia is the biggest country in the world, which is located in two continents. The official name of our country is Russian  Federation. The capital of our counrty- Moscow, founded in 1147.

In Russia, tourists may almost see any of landscape: lowlands, highlands, mountains, valleys, and plains. In our country, a lot of  long rivers and deep lakes. The longest river in Europe is Volga located in Russia. The main Siberian rivers: Ob, Enisey, and Lena. The Amur river is conected with the Pacific Ocean. Many people understand that in our country a lot of ecological problems: air and water pollution, wildlife destruction, lack of natural resources.

The main law of the Russian Federation - constitution. The president is the head of the country. The government consists of the President, Council of Ministers, and Federal assembly. The Federal Assembly has two chambers: Council of the Federation and the State Duma.
