But the first question you should ask yourself (1) when you are considering joining a choir is 'can you sing in tune'? (2) it might seem obvious, but unless you can, (3) there is little point in seeking out a choir because you'll only get rejected. (4) the choir you apply to join is (5) free to want to audition you. your voice and technique will develop probably quite quickly with proper instruction, and you may just end up wondering (6) why you didn't do this years ago
