The Metropol Hotel is one of the most beautiful hotels in Moscow. It is a wonderful A of the Art Nouveau style. The hotel was built in 1899-1907 and was the largest hotel until the Russian Revolution 0f 1917. It is also unique because the three architects who built it, William Walcot, Lev Kekushev and Vladimir Shukhov, worked B with three famous artists, Mikhail Vrubel, Alexander Golovin, and Nikolai Andreev. In 1918, after the Revolution, it was nationalized by the government and used as an C building. In the 1930s, it became a hotel D . From 1986 -1991 a group of companies from Finland restored the hotel as of a Soviet --- Finnish trade organization. Today, the Metropol Hotel still operates as a hotel and 365 rooms, E with a different shape or decoration.
