Who among us in his childhood did not read a fairy tale about the famous bear winnie the pooh and his friends? the author of this remarkable work is a poet and playwright, storyteller alan alexander milne. the future classic of english literature was born in london, in january 1882, in the family of the school's owner. since childhood little alan showed creative inclinations, dreamed of becoming a writer, filed hopes in the exact sciences, the child studied at his father's school, then at westminster school, then at college. and although in college alan studied mathematics, he took an active part in publishing the student magazine, publishing notes there. his works became popular, and the future writer began to cooperate with the british comic magazine. in 1913, the writer married dorothy de selincourt, the birth of christopher robin. when the boy was three years old, his father began to write poetry about him and for him. and although alan milne wrote many stories and poems, real popularity brought him a fairy tale about the stupid bear cub winnie. the inspirers of the fairy tale became the toys of a young son milne - christopher robin and he himself. alan alexander died after a serious illness in 1956. based on the works of the filmed many cartoons.
