The oldest time capsule was buried in 1777. It was unearthed in the city of Burgos, Spain. Inside the bottle were items such as a wooden statue of Christ, as well as papers related to the politics, culture, and economy of the era. These things seem quite simple compared to the more strange and unusual items that have been found by humans in other capsules.
