In our country red colour has several meanings. 1.in russia red is the symbol of danger for traffic light. drivers and predestrians must stop when the traffic lights are red. 2.there is red colour on our national flag . red is one of the colours of the russian flag . it symbolizes the earth. but some russians believe that red stands for courage. 3.the russian red cross is an organization which gives help to those who need it . red is also its symbol. 4.red square is the most important square in our country. many people think that red square has such name because soviet russia is associated with red colour. the flag of soviet union was also red and has a nickname the red banner. 5.the word "red " (красный) is also associated with something beautiful in our country.
