A Lucky Escape!
Paul1(wake) early. He2 (wash) his face and 3(eat) his breakfast. Then Paul and his family 4(get) into the taxi and 5 (go) to the airport.
They got on the plane and the engines (моторы) 6(start). They 7(fly) up into the sky.
They flew over North Africa. Suddenly one engine 8(make) a strange noise and 9(stop). The pilot 10(say) ‘We must make a crash landing.’ Everyone 11(be) frightened. The plane 12(go) down very fast and landed on top of the trees in the rain forest.
There was silence for a few minutes. Then they13( hear) the monkeys and the parrots. Then it started to rain. There was thunder and lightning.
Then the sun 14(come) out and the birds started to sing. They heard a helicopter far away. It flew over the plane. The pilot dropped a rope and pulled the people up into the helicopter. The helicopter 15(take) everyone to a hotel in town. They 16(be) all safe.
