не все глаголы можно употреблять в длительном ! статические глаголы выражают состояние, мыслительные процессы, желание или нежелание, ощущения. в своем большинстве эти глаголы языка не имеют формы длительного/ продолженного времени continuous:

i don't think she feels safe there. я думаю, что она не чувствует себя там в безопасности.

глагол feel как раз относится к группе этих глаголов, которые выражают чувства и ощущения, а потому глагол feel не используют в таком значении в длительном времени. здесь не происходит действия и нельзя наблюдать процесс со стороны!
