Did you go shopping, carol? yes, i did. i bought some potatoes and some carrots. did you buy any tomatoes? we have very few tomatoes. no, i didn't. they didn't have any tomatoes. did you buy any bread? we have  very little bread. yes, i did. i bought some bread and i bought some ice cream too. i didn't want any ice cream! we have lot of ice cream! i didn't bring it, mum! i ate it in the shop. oh! (how much/ how many) ice cream did you eat? i ate a lot of ice cream, but i drank hot tea with it. i am very angry . you mustn't buy   any ice cream next time. did you buy any cheese?   no, i didn't but i bought some sausage and some eggs. that's a good girl. i forgot about them. we have very few eggs. so now we can make some pancakes.
