Donald Fauntleroy Duck is a cartoon character created in 1934 at Walt Disney Animation Studios. Donald is an anthropomorphic white duck with a yellow-orange beak, legs and feet. He usually wears a sailor shirt and a cap with a bow tie. Donald is known for his semi-legible speech, mischievous and temperamental nature. Along with his friend Mickey Mouse, Donald was featured on TV's list of the 50 Greatest Cartoon Characters of All Time in 2002 and received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. He has starred in more films than any other Disney character, and is the world's most published comic book character outside of the superhero genre.

Officially, Donald's birthday is June 9, 1934, the day the Wise Little Hen short was released. However, in the Donald’s Happy Birthday short, his birthday is March 13th. Donald has a twin sister Della Thelma Duck, nephews Billy, Willie and Dilly (Huey, Dewey and Louis) Duck (Della's sons). Mother - Hortense Duck (McDuck) (sister of Scrooge McDuck, his uncle), father - Kwakmore Duck. From the beginning until 1983, Clarence Nash was the voice of Donald.
