3 New trainers for Jack Read the text. Do the task below.

“Can I have some money, Mum?” Jack asked. Mrs Hanson
looked up from her newspaper.
“What for, Jack?” she asked.
Jack didn't say anything for a moment. “I need a new pair
of trainers. My old ones are too small.”
“Yes, of course, dear,” his mum said. “Children grow!”
“But I know we haven't got much money right now," Jack
said.
“No, we haven't. We had more money when I had a job,
wem do machen
but there's enough for most things.”
“Are you looking for a new one, Mum?” Jack pointed to
the newspaper in his mother's hands. It was open at the job
adverts. “Are there any jobs for you in there?”
“Well, there aren't many jobs,” his mum said. “But there
are three good ones. I'm going to find one soon. Somewhere
near home, I think.”​
