Сходств практически нет, много различий. на моей памяти только одно сходство: 1. ощущения (болевые, как правило) могут выражаться как в present simple, так и в present continuous без потери смысла и нарушений грамматических конструкций. например: left side of my head aches / left side of my head is aching.
