One day Tom went home from school.
Suddenly, he saw some girls, who were standing
in a circle and shouting. There was only one girl
who did not shout, she was crying. Tom felt
sorry for her and asked the girls to stop. So, the
girls ran off.

Velikie luki state academy of physical education and sports was founded in 1970. at first it was a branch of lesgaft institute in st. petersburg and then of the moscow regional institute. the academy is run by the rector and three deans. over 1.000 students study at full time and correspondence departments. the course of study lasts from 4 to 6 years. there are two terms in an academic year. at the end of each term students who take credits and get high marks receive grants. students also have educational organizational practice. the academy is keeping its best traditions. великолукская государственная академия культуры и спорта была основана в 1970 году. сначала это был филиал института им. лесгафта в санкт-петербурге, а затем московского областногоинститута. академия находится в ведении ректора и трех деканов. более 1.000 студентов обучаются на очном и заочном отделениях. курс обучения длится от 4 до 6 лет. в учебном году два семестра. в конце каждого семестра студентам, которые хорошо экзамены и получают высокие оценки, предоставляются гранты. студенты также имеют образовательную организационную практику. академия хранитит свои лучшие традиции.
