Hi, Barry! Thanks a lot for your letter. It (1) _____ (be) so nice to find out about your holiday in Italy. I’m really glad you are having a wonderful vacation. Let me tell you about our summer holidays on a small island in Greece.
​We (2) _____(travel) there two weeks ago and (3) ____ (stay) for ten days.
The flight was long and tiring, but at the moment we (4) _____ (go) through the hotel doors, the vacation really (5) _____ (begin) to be fun. The hotel (6) _______ (be located) directly on the beach, and we (7) _____ (have) a marvellous view of the sea from our room. Nearby there (8) _____ (be) a small village which (9) _____ (have) only about 300 inhabitants, but lots of small local cafes.
