Если мы хотим сказать, чтобы кто-то что-то сделал, используем такую конструкцию:

Subject + V + Object + to

I want you to jump. >> Я хочу, чтобы ты прыгнул.

He wants you to be president. >> Он хочет, чтобы вы были президентом.
