Having finished his tea the dog went up to the piano and began playing. And what a wonderful pianist he was. He started off with some Chopin, my favourite composer, and next he switched over to Wagner and then to some jazz music. When he had finished the audience burst out into a storm of applause. I was so amazed that I didn't know whether I was drinking tea or coffee. I stood up, went up to the dog's master and said In a trembling voice: — My heartiest congratulations, sir! You've got a very talented dog here! It's the first time I have seen such a performance! The dog's master smiled at me mysteriously and whispered: — I can let you into a little secret they were the only three pieces he can play, but hush! Keep it dark!
