The nurse asked me if I was expecting Dr. Gray and invited me to his surgery room. Dr. Gray smiled at me and asked what was bothering me. I said I was terribly overworked (be run down). He asked me if I stay up late, and I said no. He asked why I didn’t keep normal hours, and I explained that I meet friends almost every evening. The doctor wanted to know how I spend my time, and I said that I mostly go to parties. The doctor asked me if I could (have the chance) rest on the weekend, but I had to admit that on weekends our parties last all night. He asked me if I smoke, and when I said that I smoke, the doctor asked me how many cigarettes I smoke a day. He was amazed when he heard my answer. Then the doctor asked me if I do gymnastics to maintain my health. I replied that I did not have time for this. “You light a candle from both ends,” said Dr. Gray and added, “but I envy you that you have so much fun.” Burn the candle at both ends - light a candle on both sides recklessly waste health.
