1. i n a broad sense, education is the ways, through which people get different skills, knowledge about themselves and environment. 2. there are two types of education - unofficial and official. 3. people get unofficial education during their daily life. 4. for example, children learn how to speak when they listen to others and try to speak themselves. 5. sometimes people get skills or information about something on their own initiative. 6. they can visit library or museum for getting some information, and at the same time they shouldn't pass any exams. 7. this is an opportunity to get official education in different schools, colleges, universities. 8. in the most of countries people have stepped in the system of official education since their childhood. 9. pupils must regularly visit schools, arrive on time. 10. also, they must pass exams. 11. in the most of countries system of education includes both general and professional education. 12. the purpose of general education is the transfering of the cultural heritage of one's nation. 13. in the majority of countries this is an opportunity to get general education in primary and secondary schools. 14. the target of professional education is preparation of a student for a profession. 15. professional education on the middle level is available in specialized secondary schools, and professional education on the high level is available in different institutions and universities.
