O Chinchilla
Watermelon Festival
We've held a watermelon festival in our town
in February every second year since 1994.
Lots of people come here. There are lots of
fun events such as watermelon eating
competitions and watermelon skiing, where
people must use watermelons for skis. We
also have a street parade and lots of live
music. The highlight of the festival is the
watermelon seed spitting competition. We
