“dandelion wine” is a work that stands out among ray bradbury’s literary works by the writer's personal experiences. bradbury's work is multifaceted. the main character, douglas, keeps a summer diary of 1928, which he spends surrounded by his friends, relatives and residents of the town of greentown - a small, green and quiet town. the narration is conducted on behalf of an adult person who, through childhood memories, tries to streamline his views on age, life, death, affections, and even such unusual things as witchcraft.

perhaps the book will not be among the loved ones, but it will be remembered for a long time. such a simple plot alternates with such delightful descriptions of nature, wise quotes and sayings, captivating with the charm of comfort and hints of inspiration.
