1.  people in europe not always knew how to use a fork.  2. china is often called as "a land of inventions". 3. an englishman thomas loved italy and  wrote down(noted down) everything he was interested in.  4. as soon as thomas arrived in britain,he had  a soiree  to show his friends forks.5. everyone was wondered when he started to eat meat with a fork.  6. thomas' friends said that forks have been very uncomfortable.7. he said that there in italy it wasn't   done (or  wasn't  considered acceptable) to eat meat because people not always had clean hands.8. the most simple  chinese  invention it was a cart (or a cart was the most simple  chinese   invention )9. he wanted to demonstrate how easy it was to use a fork but he couldn't.  10.nowadays ancient inventions are very popular as well.  11. in  south-east asia people don't use forks for eating, they use  chopsticks and consider it  more comfortable.
