nowadays growing up means a lot more than it was in the 20th century. especially you feel it when you watch old films and listen to the songs of that time. firstly, it concerns the speed you need to get the information. secondly, the ways you get the information. in the 21st century it means a lot more than your skills to survive. i think that growing up is learning information about the world you live in. the skills you need for it are very closely linked with the computer and the internet. people are getting deprived of live communication. you grow up living in virtual life and communicating in social network. now you don't feel so much lonety if you have got your mobile phone.

in conclusion, growing up in the 21st century means understand globalization through your smartphone.
