In the village where i live there is a story that (1) someone hid a great treasure many years ago (2) somewhere in the churchyard. (3) no one has ever discovered it, although many people have tried. the story also says that if (4) someone discovers the treasure, he will have (5) nothing but bad luck for the rest of his life. at the end of the last century, a man from the village spent the night in the churchyard looking for the treasure. in the morning, his friend couldn`t find him (6) anywhere. finally, after many days, he returned to the village but (7) nobody could understand (8) anything he said. i am not sure if there is (9) any truth in the story, and i don't really want to find out.
