Ayear after kevin was left alone at home. the mccallister family gathered to go to christmas in miami. on the eve of a christmas school concert, buzz humiliated kevin during his solo singing in front of everyone, which is why kevin broke the concert, unsuccessfully pushed buzz in retaliation. at home, buzz apologized publicly to kevin, but kevin thought he was hypocritical. kevin told the family everything he thought about the upcoming trip (he didn’t want to celebrate christmas where there were no christmas trees), which is why he was again sent to spend the night on the third floor as a punishment. the next day, like last time, mccallisterry almost wake up leaving (by disconnecting the batteries for the camcorder from recharging, peter accidentally turned off the clock). however, kevin does not lag behind his family this time. at the airport, he stopped for a minute to insert batteries into the recorder, confused his father with a man in a similar coat and after a series of confusion (kevin’s ticket was lost when he collided with the controller) was on board the liner, which flew to new york while the family flew to florida.
