her name is kate. we know each other since kindergarten. then i came to the preparatory group, and when my parents took me away, i saw that she was walking in front of me and my brother. as it turned out later, she lives in a nearby street. we later went to first grade together.

over the years, our friendship grew stronger and stronger. we have many common interests, we love to read the same book at the same time, then discuss the plot. we love going to the cinema and watching comedies on the gambling crunch of popcorn. together we roller-skate, go to the library, sometimes even doing homework together. she makes my life rich and fun.

i am always grateful to kate for listening. i, happens, how i will begin to tell something and i continue to chat, while in a mouth will not dry up. and kate is listening to me, so attentively and enthusiastically. i rarely met people who could listen like that, without ever interrupting a conversation.

then my grandmother died. you know, i didn’t know at all what death was and then i came across it for the first time. death took away my loved one, who was with me next to three years. it was very painful for me and i could not believe that there was always no more, and there never will be. kate was next. she understood me even without words. she cried with me when we saw our grandmother on her last journey. then she was also sad with me, helped me to recover and get used to a new life, no longer the same as before.

in some ways, i always wanted to be like katya. she is calm, always pondering everything, reasoningly. and i always make emotional decisions, then i try to change something. katya always gives me an answer when i ask her about the important. katya is a person who became a part of me, filling my life with full-fledged, bright events and experiences.
