last saturday i had a meeting with my friends. we have gathered to watch football in my friend's house. he has new tv set with big screen. there was a game between dinamo and shakhtar. 1) dinamo won with a 2: 1 scores. 2) guseev scored both goals for dinamo. 4) he played really well. 3) nobody was sent off and 5) no one played badly. 6) the game has ended without a penlty. 7) nothing unusual happen. 8) the match didn't go into extra time. yes, that was a boring game. but anyway we had a great time because it's really funny to spend time with my friends. next time we will watch box or something like that. i hope it will be more interesting.

минулої середи я зустрілась з своїми друзями. ми зібрались, щоб подивитись футбол в будинку мого друга. він має новий телевізор з великим екраном. тоді була гра між динамо і шахтарем. динамо переміг з рахунокм 2: 1. гусєєв забив обидва голи для динамо. він грав справді добре. ніхто не був відправлений з гри й небуло нікого, хто б грав погано. гра закінчилась без пенальті. не сталось нічого надзвичайного. матч пройшов без додаткового часу. так, це була нудна гра. але, в будь-якому випадку, ми провели час добре, тому що завжди весело проводити час з моїми друзями. наступного разу ми будем дивитись бокс чи щось типу цього. я сподіваюсь, це буде цікавіше.

the swaying of the train and the clickety-clack of the wheels rolling along the track lulls me into a trance as the trans canadian train rumbles along the track. i lie on a freshly made bed, mesmerized by a blur of conifer trees as the scenery outside my carriage is gradually swallowed by dusk.

the comfortable bed and rocking motion puts me to sleep quickly as the canadian train whizzes past trees, lakes and cabins.

the rumbling and grinding of the train provide an unexpected soundtrack to my dream of herds of buffalo thundering across the plains.

waking up to the sounds of the train is one of my favourite moments on this epic via rail train across canada.

there are three classes of travel on board the canadian.

somewhere between the railway towns of gogama and longlac, on the canadian shield, i dream there’s an earthquake.

but it’s only the train shuddering on the tracks.

when i open my eyes, the sky is a crimson blanket dotted with puffs of pink clouds.

it’s easy to slip into a world of your own on board the canadian.

on this train trip across canada, you’ll feel like you’re swept away by the majesty of a bygone era.
