Всша 50 штатов. население больше 200млн человек. до 1776 в америке было много флагов. род-айленд, к примеру, имел якорь на своём флаге. массачусетс - дерево. нью-гэмпшир - лодку. в 1776 после декларации о независимости, звезды и полосы впервые появились на американском флаге. 13 полос представляют 13 деклараций о независимости, а белые звезды представляют количество штатов в составе единого союза. новые штаты присоединилясь к союзу, и флаг менялся 26 раз. два новейших штата - аляска м гавайи
