Dear michael, thank you for your letter. it's so great to hear from you. in your letter you asked me how i spent the summer. i had a great summer. first i went to a youth camp, which is located near kaluga on the shore of a picturesque lake. we sunbathed a lot and swam in the lake, played soccer, danced in the evening, etc. i have a lot of good friends. then, the second half of the summer i spent with my grandmother in the garden. the garden is located near a large forest. we went camping, picking mushrooms and berries and bathed in a wide river. nevertheless, i already want to go to school, i missed my school friends. i'm sorry, i have to go. i'll write to you soon! all the best, sergei
