Домой - одно из самых важных мифологических существ в жизни древних славян. дом считался духом дома, который был предназначен для защиты дома от всех видов бедствий: воров, , стихийных бедствий и т. д. дом также следовал за состоянием хозяйств, защищал их от болезней и злых духов. когда ночью в доме что-то грохотало, наши предки верили, что это боевик, сражающийся с кикиморой или другим духом, негативное отношение к людям. хотя некоторые легенды , что дом иногда шутит, устраивая в доме настоящего полтергейста. однако дом никогда не причинял людям вреда и, строго говоря, без необходимости сам не имел в виду. происхождение домового определяется по-разному. некоторые источники говорят, что кто-то из мертвых членов семьи мог стать домовым. другие легенды , что домохозяйка не просто член семьи, но и родовая семья.
