Join - присоединиться, становиться членом организации, принимать участие в деятельности. he decided to join the army. unite - обединиться. peaceloving people of the world unite! as (как, в качестве) -  при сравнении предмета или действия с чем-то реальным. i work as a manager. like - как, похожий - сравниваем предмет или действие с тем, чем они не являются.he is like you and me.

my favourite profession is  architect.

this is a very complex and interesting profession at the same time.

i like math and i want to build a career with this item.

i will design the construction of houses, theaters, buildings.
