some people believe that teenagers do not read newspapers or magazines nowadays, but this point of view is only partially true: there are teenagers who love reading in general and who read magazines.

my favourite magazine is "vokrug sveta" ("around the world"). it is quite a popular russian geographic magazine. i also know that it is one of the oldest popular science magazines in the world.  

there are always a lot of interesting articles there. they are about travel, animals, medicine, astronomy, different countries and their culture and history. i have often used these materials for my school reports. besides, the magazine has lots of colourful pictures, so reading it is really like going on a trip in space and time.

i think i will always read this magazine as long as it is published. i will never get bored with it.
